Andre Stock is a sophomore at the University of Arizona and majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Foreign Language. Andre was born in Leesville, Louisiana but quickly relocated to Panama City, Panama where his family was already deep in the racing business. His grandfather was a Trainer/ Owner and his mother was the first female television horse racing host and analyst in Panama. After he moved to Delaware, Andre was able to network while still working for Trainer Larry Jones and meet many other trainers and owners such as Rick Porter from Fox Hill Farm; which has proved to be an asset in the quick success of EquiSight.
Andre has the same opinion as EquiSight regarding the way horse racing is viewed and agrees it needs a kick-start to remove itself from the “binocular era.”
Andre joined the EquiSight team in the Summer of 2011 as our Equine Video Content Manager while based at Delaware Park with trainer Larry Jones. His first contribution to the company was to work alongside his long-time friend and jockey Gabriel Saez and the Jones barn to produce our first video of what many consider the Nation’s best filly: “Havre de Grace.” She later went on to finish 4th in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Andre has proved to be an asset to EquiSight and we look forward his contributions to the company.
